Safety Tips for Your Quails

Though quails are hardy in that they survive in the jungle, they do require some basic safety measures. The younger the quails, the more they demand attention. As they mature, they become less demanding but still do require a few safety measures. Some of the safety tips you need to know concerning your quails are:
1. Beware of water. Water, though a requirement, can turn to be disastrous to your quails, especially the young ones. Provide the quails with watering points which they cannot fall into.

2. Keep the Floors Clean! Quails like tasting everything. Make sure the floor is clean otherwise they may end up picking some poisonous substances.

3. Be careful when opening and closing doors. Make certain your quail isn't anywhere it can get caught in a closing door or hit by an opening door. When closing doors, watch both the swinging side and the hinged side, because a quail can get its head in between a very small space.

4. Be aware of what's under your feet at all times. It could be a quail! Tame quails like to be where their humans are, and this means hanging around by our feet.
